Catherine M Ayers was born 29 September 1925 to Jane Alice Henson and Albert Lucius Ayers (1894-1982) in Spring Hill, Marengo, AL.[1][2][3]

In 1940, Albert 46, mother Jane 42, Nettie Lee 17, Joe 19, Willie May 16, Ola Mae 15, Thomas Edward 12, Ed Wm 10, Albert Ayres 8, Jane Lee 5. She was finished 6th grade elementary school. They lived in Spring Hill, Marengo west of Hwy 43.[4]
In 1950, dad was 56, mom was 54, Eddie W 31, William 27, Catherine was 22, Albert was 18, Jane was 15. They were still on the farm in Spring Hill, Marengo 'on the road to Gallion'. Catherine was keeping the house and not working for gain.[5]
Catherine moved to Chicago, IL, USA.
Death and Burial
Catherine M Ayers died 26 Oct 2009 in Chicago, IL.[6]
She was buried in the Ayers Family Cemetery in Linden, Marengo, Alabama on Tabernacle Road near Gallion Road.[7]
