Biography

Joshua Babcock was born on 7 Dec 1728 in Westerly, Rhode Island;[1] the third son of Daniel Babcock and Abigail Thompson. [2] He married married Sarah Berry on 10 Jan 1754. [3] Their children were:

Susannah Babcockb: 11 Jan 1755
Richard Babcock 1756 - 1823
Daniel Babcock b: 10 Sep 1757

Joshua passed away in 1759.

His Will is dated 13 April 1759 and proved on 6 December 1759 in Westerly, Rhode Island.[4]

Babcock-2653 and Babcock-3907 appear to represent the same person because: Please re-examine this. This looks like a real match and the good sourcing on the one side will connect him into the larger Babcock family and eliminate the duplication.
