Biography

It is recorded in Lancaster Co that Henry Chowning of Middlesex Co married Eunice Bailey 24 Aug 1769. And the Will(book 16 page 206) of John Bailey of Lancaster Co., VA probated April 16, 1762 listed Eunice as one of five daughters(Ellen, Hannah, Mary and Jean along with sons Charles and John(not yet 21) plus child my wife now goes with. His wife Eunice died before April 16 1772 and lists a son Jesse probably born in 1766/62 since John Sr's Will was written September 1761 and probated April 1762.
