Biography
Mary Jane Bainbridge was born about 9 Apr 1889 in Elkhorn Township, Plymouth, Iowa, United States[1][2], daughter of Joseph Bainbridge (1856 - 1934) and Margaret (Pratt) Bainbridge (1863 - 1908).
Her siblings were:

- Joseph Elmer Bainbridge (1896 - 1966)
In the 1900 census Mary (age 11) was the single daughter of Joseph Bainbridge in Elkhorn, Plymouth, Iowa.[3]
Mary married Frank Holdridge Stevens (born in Pierson, Woodbury, Iowa on 14 Apr 1885; died in Kingsley, Plymouth on 14 May 1966) on 24 Aug 1907 in Woodbury.[4][5]
Their children were:
- Melvin Frank Stevens (1910 - 1988)
- Max Joseph Stevens (1922 - 2012).

Mary died on 7 Apr 1960 aged 70. She is buried in Kingsley Cemetery, Kingsley.[12][13]
