Julia, the first daughter and second of three children of Benjamin Baldwin and Jane Jones was born in 1863 at Rutland, Kane, Illinois.
In 1870, Julia Marinda, 7 years of age was living with her parents, Benjamin (42 years, b. Vermont, occupation Farmer) and Jane (34 years, occupation Housekeeping) and siblings Austin Eli (12 years) and May Elen (2 years) at Rutland, Kane, Illinois.[1]
