Research notes
In the February 1920 census, Goldie Johnson is listed as living next door to Charlie Ball and his current wife, Lola. Where was James in the 1920 census??
Family sources have James married prior to Goldie to a Kate Shields (in 1914). I have found no evidence of this marriage to date.
