Robert was just a young boy when he arrived at Lyttleton with his family in 1873. [1]
In 1919, Robert and his brother Alexander's widow, Frances Gertrude Baxter were jointly granted probate of his Will.
Robert Baxter passed away in 1928 aged 65-66 and is buried at Rakaia Cemetery
Rakaia, Ashburton District, Canterbury.
Probate of Robert's Will was granted to his brother John of Pendarves and his sister Eliza of Dorie. [2]
