Biography

Angus Beaton, "Taillear," son of "Alasdair Ruadh," was first married to Anne Cameron, daughter of Allan, with issue: a. John, b. a boy who died in infancy, c. Alexander (Sandy), d. Allan, e. John Angus, f. Flora, g. Sara, h. Catherine, i. Catherine, j. Donald and k. Alex. He was married, the second time, to Victoria Mclsaac, daughter of "Aonghas Ban" Maclsaac of Big River, without issue.^[1]

Angus Beaton (38) is on the 1871 census with wife Ann (36) and their children; John (12), Alexander (7), Allan (5), John Angus (2) and Flora (1 mo).^[2]
