    2. ) Biography. Asa Beebe was a noted Tory, but served as a patriot soldier in the Revolutionary War. He was an Express Messenger during the Danbury Raid in 1777. Asa was a Deacon in the Congregational Church and was the first representative in the Vermont legislature from Bennington, Vt.
      1. ) Residences: Asa Beebe was born in Colchester, Connecticut, and lived there until about 1772 when he moved to Winhall, Bennington, Vermont where he is enumerated in the 1790 census. Asa then moved to Parma, Monroe Co. New York in 1825
