Biography
Susannah was born in 1746. She passed away in 1825.
Born Susannah (Susan) Beller/Bellars around 1746 in Rutherford, North Carolina. Her Parents were Kathryn Kunkel of Pennsylvania and Peter Bellers of Germany.
Susan was married to Captain William John Twitty who was killed by Indians while clearing the Wilderness Trail with Daniel Boone near what is now called Twitty's Fort.
They were the parents of 8 children.
Susannah later married Colonel William Graham (Battle of Kings's Mountain/Graham's Fort/Fort McFadden). Colonel Graham adopted all of the Twitty children.
Colonel Graham and Susannah had one child together. Her name was Sarah Elizabeth Graham Find A Grave: Memorial #31687904 . She married Abraham Irvine Find A Grave: Memorial #31687360
