Research Notes

We know that a Lucy Benson (of Middleboro) married John Randall and had at least two children. But we do not know for sure that Lucy (Benson) Randall is the daughter of Caleb and Ruth Benson.

Interestingly, a Caleb Benson Randall was b. in 1828, d. Sep 18, 1876, buried in Cutler, ME. It could be that Lucy named her son after her father.

There are two "Maine Vital Records" that show Lucy Benson married to John Randall, both records are for two of their children.
