William was Christened born 1744 in Saint Paul's Church, Narragansett, Washington, Rhode Island, United States. He is the son of Samuel Bentley and Sarah Baker. William and Rachel were married by Rev. James McSperfran. They had 5 children; John, Sarah, Agrippa, Samuel, Charlotte.
