Emmanuel Berry was born on October 24, 1826 in Virginia, United States, son of John Buchanan Berry (1791–1842) and Nancy Kinkead Hope (1795–1855).
He married Elizabeth Mc Intosh in 1850 in Licking, Ohio, United States.[1]
In the 1850 census he (age 24) was in Lima Township, Licking, Ohio, United States.[2]
