He died on 5 Feb 1837 in Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York. His will was probated in Richmond, New York.[10]
Military
He served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War as a Private in the 9th Regiment Connecticut Militia, Capt. Gregory's Company under Gen. Wooten. Also served in Capt. Hobby's Company. He entered on 21 Oct 1776 and was discharged on 11 Jan 1777.[11][12]
