Married William MacLellan sometimes spelled McClelland or Mclelan on census records. They were living in Holmes County, Mississippi by 1840.[1]

Born about 1785 in Halifax County, North Carolina, USA.[2]

She is the daughter of Peter Bird who lived in Edgecombe, Halifax County, North Carolina, USA when the census of 1790 was taken.[3]

1794 Hancock County, Georgia, USA Guardianship Bond 8 Feb 1805 Hancock County, Georgia, USA.[4]

Ordered that James Bird be appointed the guardian of the persons and property Erwin Bird, Nancy Bird & Polly Bird orphans of Peter Bird deceased, he giving bond & security in the sum of two thousand dollars.[5]

Account Return 4 Apr 1808 Hancock County, Georgia, USA. James Bird, the guardian for Polley Bird, returned an account of monies paid for her amounting to forty dollars 76/100.[6]

Account Return 6 Mar 1809, Hancock County, Georgia, USA. James Bird guardian of the Orphans of Peter Bird dec'd returned receipts amounting to forty-one dollars 62 1/2 cents, expended for Polly Bird during the last year.[7]
