Paul (Biya'a bi Mvondo) Biya was born in Cameroon.

Paul Biya has served as the president of Cameroon since 6 November 1982. Currently (June 2023) he is the second-longest-serving president in Africa, the longest consecutively serving non-royal national leader in the world, and the oldest head of state in the world.
