Adelbert Blackmer was born on August 16, 1865 in Dedham, Massachusetts, United States, son of Rev William P. Blackmer and Lucy (Bartlett) Blackmer[1]He married Jennie Bemis in Granby, Hampshire County, Massachusetts on November 20, 1885,[2] and they had at least eight children.
In 1923 they were living in Holyoke, Massachusetts and he was employed by the Holyoke Water Power Company.[3]
He died March 21, 1927 in South Hadley, Hampshire.[4][5]
