Biography
Mae Addis Blackwell was born on July 30, 1922, in Mississippi to William Turner Blackwell-3339 and Annie Jane Bell Autrey-227.
In 1930, Mary A. (as it's spelled in the census, age 7) lived in Franklin, Louisiana with her father William (35), her mother Annie (37), her sister Audie Blackwell-3340 (14), sister Tyreau Blackwell-3341 (11) and younger sister Mary Blackwell-3342 (5)[1].
In 1940, May Addie (as it's spelled in the census, age 17) lived with her father William (45), her mother Annie J. (48), her sister Mary Alice (15), her maternal grandfather Holland C. Autrey-228 (66) and maternal grandmother Tyreau Autrey (63)[2].
On October 24, 1945 Mae and Chester Barney-1698 had their daughter Betty Ann Barney-1933 [3].
Mae Addis Blackwell Barney (89) passed away on December 12, 2011, in Basken, Franklin Parish, Louisiana and is buried at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe Ouachita Parish, Louisiana[4].
