William Blake was born on September 28, 1729 in Milton, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony, son of William Blake (1696–1736) and Hannah Moseley (1702–~1736)^[1].

William (23) married Miriam Townsend (20) (born about 1732 in Abington, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony; daughter of Robert Townsend and Abigail (Beal) Townsend) on January 4, 1753.^{[2] [3]}

Their children were:

• Jemima Blake (1756–1831)
• Miriam Blake (1759–>1759)
