Biography

Sarah Jane Blundell was born on 27 April 1861 at Southport (East Bank St.) and baptised on 2 June 1861 in Southport ^[1][2][3].

She married Sydney Walter Scott (1862-1956) on 2 December 1884 at St George's Church, Altrincham ^[4][5]. They had several children:

1. Annie (Scott) Donnison (1885-1957),

3. Charles Arnold Scott (1888-1889),
4. Florence Mabel Scott (1890-1918),
5. Florence Mabel Scott (1890-1918),

In 1871 she was 10, living at 45 East Bank Street, North Meols, Lancashire, England with her widowed father and four siblings^[6].

In 1881 she was a confectioner, a visitor to 43 Linaker Street North Meols, Lancashire, England, the household of James A Woodworth^[7].

In 1891 she was living at 7 Railway Street, Altrincham, Cheshire, England with her husband and three children. He was 28 and she was 29 and they were both confectioners. They had an assistant (so they may have run a shop) and two apprentices. They also had a domestic servant.^[8].

In 1901 she was living at Hampford New Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, England with her husband (they were both 38) and their five children with two servants^[9].
