Biography

Samuel was born in 1874 and registered in the third quarter of 1874^[1].

Samuel Blundell died young.

He died on 16 Feb 1875 at Southport^[2] which was registered in the first quarter of 1875 at Ormskirk^[3].

Research

This child of Henry Blundell was in my wife's tree but is not on Wikitree. At least three people have contributed to Henry Blundell's profile and he already has 10 offspring, but hey, what is one more. I have added this person as unconnected, since it is unsourced, in the hopes I can find some sources and connect him. In Carol's tree was a note that he was buried at Southport with a reference of Grave 33 72'W 28'S . This makes me think he is a real person. His middle name of Moreton suggests he is a child of Hannah Moreton, but this is not necessarily the case. In Carol's tree his father was Henry Blundell (abt.1827-1914).

Sources have been found for birth in 1874 and death in 1875. but in Ormskirk rather than Southport as it was in Carol's tree. However according to Google's Bard, Ormskirk included Southport (provenance unknown). Having been born and died between censuses this accounts for him not being found that way. His birth date of 1874 couple with his middle name is fairly strong evidence that Hannah Moreton was his mother and so I have connected him to both parents although there is no other evince of his parentage.
