Biography
Martha was born about 1856. A Northumberland Non-Conformist Record shows "Martha Duglas Blythe" born on 18 Dec 1856, baptized on 22 July 1857. The exact location isn't shown but thought to be Berwick-upon-Tweed or near it.
Martha married twice: first, to William Clazey, about June 1885; second, to Thomas Cockburn, after about 1897.
She was listed in the 1911 U.K.census, at Berwick-upon-Tweed, which showed age 60, although she is really thought to be just 54.
Martha died in 1940 and was buried at Berwick-upon-Tweed.
