Edgar was born in 1895. He was the son of Edgar Bockes. He passed away in 1955. First-hand information as remembered by Ann Frederking, Thursday, April 3, 2014. Clair was a farmer with a farm on Nunnery Road at the south edge of Borodino until Word War II. After his brother, Smith, died he worked his own farm as well as helping Frank and Alan on the Colton/Bockes farm at the north end of Borodino. During the war he was a milk carrier in Syracuse, NY. Later on he worked as a farm laborer.
