Biography

Born: Charlotte Bollin, 21 Dec 1815

Married to: Edward William Chenoweth, 12 Oct 1838 in England.

Seven or eight children by Chenowith with Birth Years from 1838 to 1849. Son John passed away at about 6 years old, daughter Laurentia passed away at about 10 months old. Ancestry trees show a daughter Sara but there's a lack of evidence, and her birth date is very close to the first son, and she did not travel to Australia with her mother and siblings.

Widowed: William Edward Chenoweth died 24 Apr 1850, England.

Emigrated London to Australia: April to 18(?) August 1853. Charlotte Bollin Chenoweth's age is recorded as 33 in the passenger manifest, along with children Edward, 13, Charlotte, 11, Robert, 10, Phoebe, 7, and Frederick, 4. Her age should be calculated as 37 or 38.

Remarried: George Nunn Barrett, 17 Dec 1853 in Australia. Three or four children by George Barrett, first two born in the UK with birth years 1831 and 1838 (before Charlott'e marriage to Chenoweth), second two born in Australia, birth years 1854 and 1857.

NOTE INTERWEAVE OF CHILDRENS AGES OVER BOTH MARRIAGES It appears that George Nunn Barrett had one or two children with Charlotte Bollin before her marriage to Edward Chenoweth. Those early children remained in the UK. Then after Edward's death it seems Charlotte reconnected with George Nunn Barrett and he and the Chenoweth's emigrated to Port Phillip, Victoria, Australia in August 1853. I'll add a table to try to make sense of it.

Widowed again: George Nunn Barrett died 12 Oct 1880

Charlotte's Death: 6 Mar 1890
