Biography
Barsheba was the daughter of Gregory and Sarah Bonifield and the twin of Rachel Bonifield.
She married William Masters in 1774, and they had at least one child, John.[1] A Barsheba Masters who married William Cochran/Cockerham in Surry County, North Carolina in 1801 may have been a daughter.[2]
The couple moved to Surry (later Wilkes), North Carolina, where Barsheba was a widow by 1800.[3]
