Biography

Lived with her brother Joseph and sister Eliza in the village of Oso where they kept store. She was blind for many years.

An 1871 Census of Oso, (Addington) Frontenac, Ontario shows William Bourk (1811-1894) 59 (b. Abt. 1812 in Ireland and Margaret Bourk (1812-1880) 59 (b.Abt. 1812 In Ireland) with children; Elizabeth 32 (b. Abt. 1839 in Ireland), Robert 27, Mary 22, John 20, Joseph 18, Soloman 16 and Elijah 14. [1]
