Biography

Cecil Bowyer, was the eldest son and heir of Sir William Bowyer, 2nd Baronet Bowyer, and his wife Frances Cecil, daughter of Charles Cecil, Viscount Cranbourne, and his wife, Jane Maxwell.[1] Cecil, child of William Bowyer & Frances, was born on 1 June 1684 and baptised on 19 June 1684 in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England.[2]

Cecil Bowyer, married at St Paul's Cathedral, London, on 22 July 1707, (as Cecill Bowyer Esq) Juliana Parker, the daughter of Richard Parker, of Hedsor, Buckinghamshire.[3][1] They had six children, four sons and two daughters;[4]

  1. Sir William Bowyer, born about 1710, succeeded his grandfather as 3rd Baronet Bowyer;[1]
  2. Richard;
  3. Thomas;
  4. Orlando;
  5. Frances, died 10 May 1783
  6. Charlotte.

Cecil was buried on 30 December 1720 in Denham, Buckinghamshire, England.[5]
