Biography

Life and Birth

James was born on 6 Aug 1822 in Smith, Tennessee. He was the son of Rodney Bowlin and Tricy Harris. He married Polly Taylor around 1843. ^{[citation needed]} They had four children. After Polly died, he married Margaret Bunker. ^{[citation needed]} They had nine children. He was a farmer by trade.

Death and Burial

James died on 14 April 1912 in Churchill, Cassia, Idaho.^[1] It is currently unknown where James is buried.

Census Records

James was 56 years old living with his family for the 1880 United States Census.^[2]
