Research Notes
Re: What happened to Mary?
No records found for Mary/Polly after 1894. She may have stayed in Wisconsin or went on to Iowa with her mother. If she married, her name is unknown. The 1900 US census says her mother had 4 children, 3 of whom were still living in 1900. It is uncertain which daughter died before 1900. Death dates of siblings Mary/Polly, Eliza, and Elizabeth K not known; Lucy Jane died 1941.
