Research Notes
One of his children was accidently shot and killed by another of his children. Find source on this. Newspaper article??
Son Vivan is actually Weiland (Yvan).
Mom (Jo) has letters written by Herman Paul, to a paper in Germany, and in there is an exact written account of how he(?) died on May 1, 1915. He was born in 1911. I think it was May 9. They might have called him Vivan if the couldn't pronounce Ivan written as Yvan. The letter explains how 4 children of the family were involved (in the gunshot incident). I will get copies of the letters for you. This info is From Veronica S.
