Alexander Birmingham Brock was born on 6 Jul 1813 in South Carolina, USA, son of James Brock (1778–abt. 1850) and Mary Polly (Hunt) Brock (1776–1856).[1]
Alexander (36) married Matilda Anne (Rogers) Brock (17) (born in Sep 1832 in Louisiana) on 5 Dec 1849 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana. Their known children were:
- William Alexander Jackson Brock (1855–1935)W A Brock died on 2 October 1935 in Campti, Natchitoches, Louisiana.[2]
- Georgeana S Brock (abt. 1858– )
- Susannah Lucy (Brock) Lasyone (1859–abt. 1900)
- Book 'Nightriders ' about the West-Kimbrell Clan [gang] who were thieves and murderers, Alexander was involved with vigillantes who hunted them down in Montgomery.
