Daughter Jane married Matthew Maybee/Magbee/McBee and had sons Brock and Matthew, jr. Capt. Brock and unnamed wife sued and took custody of the boys, Jane went back to court proved her good character and asked for boys to be returned to help her raise the younger children.

"Capt. Edward Brock of and concerning the orphans of Matthew Mogbee had by his former wife Capt. Brock's daughter". Prince George Co. MD Land records D:170, 219, 311

Needs to be merged with Brock-64. Also I question the alleged wife "Elizabeth Audley." Where did she come from? I find about ten marriages of women named Elizabeth Audley on FS in the relevant time frame, but none of them are to an Edward Brock, or even to anyone named Evans (such that she could have been the mother of the Evans family, apparent stepchildren imported by Edward Brock to Maryland).

Brock-4227 and Brock-1360 appear to represent the same person because: These two are duplicated profiles. Please merge.

Shouldn't his last name at birth be changed to Brock?
