John was a farmer in Clayton, Kansas. In 1892 he was known to have put out 200 acres of wheat and from that he reaped 2,000 bushel of grain and also harvested 200 bushel of rye the same year.
John passed away in 1927. He is buried in the Norcatur Cemetery in Norcatur, Norton County, Kansas, USA.[2]
