Research Notes
DOB warning is acceptable based on source. Assuming source is correct Rebecca's sister Mary would have been very premature.
The source for Rebecca's marriage to Samuel is questionable. However, the brides name is shown as "Miss Rebecca C. Furness" and no other Furness records have been found in Saint John until several decades later. Also, the only other records for a Samuel Drake found in Saint John relate to this Samuel Drake. It seems more likely there was an error in Rebecca's published surname than there being another Samuel Drake married to a another Rebecca C. without any further records of either of them.
