On 1850 Ozark Co. Mo. Census family of Benjamin and Sarah Risley. Nancy was the daughter of Gid Brown and Sarah Miller Brown Risley Anderson.

Catherine Risley was born on Little North Fork in 1843. She never married but raised an orphan, Billy Stanley. She homesteaded near Peel in Marion Co, AR.
