Johanna Jeanette Brungers^[1][2][3] was born on 14 June 1930,^[1][2][4] in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey,^[1][2][3] to Henry Richard Brungers and Jane Marney.^{[1][2][4] [3]}

She finished 12th grade.^[4]

On 26 June 1949, she married Richard Maxton Grey, in Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey. Richard was a student, and lived in Jamestown, New York. Johanna lived at 81 Crescent Avenue, Jersey City. ^[1] They reportedly had six children, including:

Johanna and Richard were divorced.^[2]

On 19 December 1970, she married James Leon Bergmann Nielsen, in Ridgefield Park, Bergen County, New Jersey. They both gave their address as 137 Bergen Avenue, Ridgefield Park. James was a retail [??] manager. ^{[2] [5]}

James seems to have remarried in November 1972. ^{[6] [7]} She seems to have resumed using the name 'Johanna Grey' by 26 November 1976.^[3]

On 8 November 1993, she died, in Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, Sussex County, New Jersey, of natural causes. She was a bank teller, last employed by 1st Jersey National Bank, of Hoboken, New Jersey. She lived in Mulford Road, in Andover Township, Sussex County, New Jersey. She was cremated, at the H G Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. ^[4]
