Biography

Birth

Cornelis Buijs was born 24 August 1794 in Zaandam Noord-Holland, Nederland. he was baptized; 31 Augustus 1831 in the reformed community Zaandam, Cornelis was the son of Jacob Dirks Buijs and Jannetje Cornelis Luijten. ^[1]

Marriage

In 1823 Cornelis married in Zaandam at age 29 Bregje Boot.^[2] His occupation at marriage was "houtzager" (woodsawer).

Death

He passed away in 1855 in Zaandam, age about 61. ^[3]
