After searching for Mary Burnham who married Charles Tuttle, I found that it is not Mary, daughter of Thomas, but is instead Mary, daughter of James Burnham that married Charles Tuttle. I have added numerous sources to both this profile and Mary (Burnham) Tuttle to support her marriage, and children with Charles
Are there sources that show this Mary is the one that married Tuttle? A Mary Burnham married Ephraim Severance in New Hampshire (shown as a sister to this Mary). I suspect the latter may be of the NH branch of Burnhams, but perhaps not.
I just read a very well-sourced blog post (https://mhollick.typepad.com/slovakyankee/2009/09/mary-burnham-story-1685after-1748.html) that makes a strong case for this Mary Burnham being the wife of a man named Samuel Story and not Charles Tuttle. Thomas Burnham's brother James Burnham, (Burnham-176) mentions his daughter 'Mary Tuttle' in his will. The blogger believes James Burnham and his wife Mary Cogswell were the parents of Charles Tuttle's wife Mary Burnham (born 1678) and that his brother Thomas Burnham and sister-in-law Lydia Pingree were the parents of Samuel Story's wife Mary Burnham (born 1685). I was working on the Story family, which is how I came across this discrepancy. I won't make any changes, but thought you may want to look into it. Thanks!
