Biography

Mildred was born in 1917 to Marion Edgar Burrell and Clemmie Gertrude Gamble. She was the sixth of 11 children, and grew up on her father's farm. She married Haskell Morris 1 month short of her 20th birthday. Mildred passed away in 2012 at 94 years old.

Obituary

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Chillicothe Church of Christ. Interment will be at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Mildred was born Friday, December 21, 1917 in Ivanhoe, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Marion Edgar Burrell and the late Clemie Gamble Burrell. She married Haskell Morris on November 17, 1937 in Quanah, TX., he preceded her in death April 17, 1986. She was a member of Chillicothe Cemetery Assoc., Vice President at Chillicothe bank for 21 years. Retired from Rhodia in 1987. She attended North Texas State Tech College and was a member of Chillicothe Church of Christ.

She is survived by her Sister, Marian White of Wichita Falls, TX, and numerous Nieces & Nephews. Preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

Memorials can be made to Chillicothe Church of Christ or Chillicothe Cemetery.
