Harry Burrill is a part of US Black heritage.

Harry Burrill was born on February 22, 1874, in the District of Columbia, United States, the second child, second and youngest son of John Henry Burrill and his wife Clara Eliza Washington.[1]

On June 7, 1880, the 5-year-old Harry was living at 1336 Massachusetts Avenue, Washington DC, with his family. Home with him at the time were his father: John Henry (42), a laborer with the State Department; his mother: Clara (33); and his siblings: 4-year-old Edmond; 3-year-old Nancy (known as "Nannie"); and the baby: 11-month-old Clara Washington.[2]

During the 1890s Harry was living at 1716 17th Street, NW, Washington, DC, with his occupation in 1895 being listed as "physician". That same year his brother Edmond was listed as a student, and their father as a messenger.[3]

Harry K Burrill passed away on January 4, 1898, in Washington, District of Columbia, United States,[4] and was interred on the 7th in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Benning (DC), where numerous family members have also been laid to rest.[5]
