Eugene was born on August 5, 1926, to Carl Burris and Maggie Bailey of Mexia, Limestone County, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.[1]
He passed away on July 2, 1997, in Port Arthur, Jefferson County, Texas.
