Private Nathan (Button) Burton served with Col. Josiah Brewer's Regiment, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.

Nathan (Button) Burton is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A207721.

Nathan was born on 21 November 1735 in Hopkinton, Rhode Island. [1]

Nathan was living in Winslow, Maine during the American Revolution. He served for one month as a scout for Colonel Josiah Brewer in Lincoln County, by order of Brig. Gen'l Wadsworth. [2][3]

Nathan died after 26 May 1820 in Unity, Maine, as he was mentioned as living in his son-in-law Matthew Fowler's pension application.
