Jessie Oleta Cagle was born on 29 Nov 1916 in Bell County, Texas, United States, daughter of Alonzo M Cagle (1879–1967) and Willie Alpharetta Dixon (1880–1950).

Jessie (25) married James Lee Thornton (24) (born on 1 Aug 1917 in Belton, Bell, Texas; son of Henry Aubrey Thornton Sr. and Mary Jane (Ballard) Thornton) on 24 Dec 1941 in Austin, Travis, Texas.

Jessie died on 16 Jun 2003 in McLennan County, Texas, aged 86. [2]
