Biography

Robert CAMPBELL was born on January 3, 1759, in Prince Edward, Virginia, the son of Jane Allison and Robert Campbell. He married Mary YOUNG on October 15, 1785, in Abingdon, Virginia. They had 13 children in 22 years. He began receiving a pension in 1833 for his service in the Revolutionary War. He died on December 29, 1841, in Hawkins, Tennessee, having lived a long life of 82 years, and was buried there.
