Hello,

I have been looking at the yDNA matches of a few members of the Dieckmann yDNA project at FamilyTreeDNA at https://www.familytreedna.com/groups/dieckmann-y-dna/about

Unfortunately, John has passed away. But perhaps someone has the ability to check his FamilyTreeDNA account and might like to join that project and is interested in an exchange. Perhaps you might like to check the sources of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Dieckman-49 as well. Best regards from Germany, Sven

Hi Sven,

I manage John's account at FTDNA. I am also the group administrator for the Carstensen Project there. I checked out the Dieckmann group project, but I was only able to see SNP's not results of Y-DNA testing. You can request to join the Carstensen Project, if you would like. We have a few people who have joined but are not Carstensens per se. I just add them with the Ungrouped kits. You are more than welcome. Best, Marilyn
