This category groups the victim and prisoner categories for the Zapyškis Massacres, which occurred July - September 1941.

From Holocaust Atlas of Lithuania:

"On the outskirts of Batiškės woods, about 1.5 km north of Šakiai, several massacres took place from July 1941, to September 13, 1941. On that particular day 890 Jewish women and children were murdered. In total, about 1,000–1,200 Jews might have been killed there. The murders were committed by German SS troops, Lithuanian policemen and white armbanders.
