When Thomas Jefferson Caudill was born on 27 July 1856, in North Carolina, United States, his parents were Hugh B. Caudill and Elizabeth Blevins.[1]

In 1870 and 1880, Thomas lived with his parents and siblings in Maiden Spring, Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[2][3]

He married Dorthula Adeline "Mollie" Bowling on 18 March 1885, in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[4]

They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters.[5]

In 1900, Thomas and his wife and children lived in Rich Valley District, Smyth, Virginia, United States.[6]

He lived in Clear Fork District, Tazewell, Virginia, United States in 1910[7] and Boissevain, Tazewell, Virginia, United States in 1920.[8]

He died on 17 December 1932, at the age of 76, and was buried in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, United States.[9]
