I have found genealogical information for Evans and Myra/Mira/Mary and family, but still searching for a record that confirms their son Horace was this Horace Cayton Sr. I'm hoping Aaron or another contributor can provide that. None of the linked sources includes this detail. The linked death certificate indicates that his wife did not remember details about his parents in 1940. I'll be happy to provide pointers to the additional info if we can confirm the match.
I'm also curious about Aaron Gullison's inclusion of "Burial in Oregon, United States". Again, the linked sources don't say that. Bleitz Funeral Home, included in his death certificate, is in Seattle. Ed Diaz in a biographical opening to Susie Cayton's short stories wrote that both Horace and Susie's ashes were scatter in Puget Sound, near Seattle. https://depts.washington.edu/civilr/susie_cayton.htm
