Liddie, child of Eliza was born at Farmville Plantation in Iredell County, North Carolina, enslaved by Joseph Chambers and his son, Pinckney Brown Chambers, who also planted at Farmville. The Chambers recorded the names, birth dates, and death dates of the enslaved at Farmville Plantation in their plantation journal, as well as how they were related to one another. Liddie's birth was recorded in this journal.[1]
