Biography

Amy was born in 1903. She was the daughter of William Chappell and Mary Ackles. She passed away in 1953.[1] [2] Amy had taken an interest in the Pythian Sisters and was a member of Elizabeth Temple, having held office in this organization. She was also a member of the United Workers of First Baptist Church.

Research Notes

Amy middle name is Rosline on her death certificate, but on her marriage certificate and the wedding writeup in the newspaper, it has Rosleen. Since Amy was alive at the time of her marriage, and most likely help fill out the marriage certificate and the writeup for the newspaper, I went with Rosleen.
